Everyone learns differently, so if you’re having trouble understanding a concept, you’re in luck. There are many resources for learners, in whatever format you find most useful.
We’ve listed a few of our favorites below, but this is not an exhaustive list. If you’ve got a suggestion for a resource, please feel free to contact us! Just leave your links in the email, and we’ll check it out.
Video Tutorials
Jessica McDonald
Jessica offers excellent tutorials on techniques for wearables, especially sweaters. She also has books and patterns if you are interested in her work.
While Berroco is more known for selling yarn, they do offer a playlist of tutorials for many techniques, from beginner to advanced. Be aware the audio quality is not the best, and you may need closed captioning.

Written Tutorials
Acting as more of a hub for resources than anything else, AllFreeKnitting offers tutorials in both video and image formats, although it may not be the best for someone who does not practice a common knitting style. However, if you’re looking for an all-in-one resource, it’s very handy to have this site bookmarked.
Allfreeknitting
There are few resources I rely on more for learning new techniques than TK. In addition to a resource guide, TECHknitter has articles about specific techniques and links further resources. The images are great if you do not use a traditional knitting technique, since it’s easy to visualize how a stitch should look regardless of how it gets that way.
