When Patterns Attack!

Everyone knows that patterns can sometimes be hard to work with. Here at Cookie Tin, we try to make the process as easy for users as possible, but testing can sometimes be a messy affair. We should have a few more patterns coming out very soon now that the new season has arrived, but for now I would like to give a huge shout-out to the Antique Pattern Library. When first learning new crafts, like lace-making, it can be hard to find resources. APL seeks to find and keep patterns that are in the public domain and offer them for users. Their many volunteers clean up files and scans, help catalogue the many books, pamphlets, and handouts they have on file, and keep our heritage alive in much the same way Cookie Tin is trying to do.

If you are interested in older patterns, or just want to see what the most popular items of the 1950s were, check them out! Just be warned you might pick up a few more hobbies that you want to try.
